Wow, how did I miss your post about the league affiliation? That was terrific. I don't think population is much of a factor. Attendance is what matters, and I think regular attendance over 300K is easily attainable, and respectable for AA. However, Fort Wayne is not ideal for AA, geographically. I would assume that additional revenue created by AA affiliation would be more than offset by increased travel costs...unfortunately. I'd like to be wrong here.
