State audits downtown plan

"Bruce Hartman, examiner for the State Board of Accounts, said his department is conducting its field work on the annual Fort Wayne audit. As part of this year’s examination, he said the state will look at the $130 million Harrison Square development."
"Hartman said the state didn’t include the project as part of the audit because of suspected wrongdoing, but because of the size of and attention givenproject. “We’re definitely not doing anything special,” he said. “Its dollar value speaks for itself.”"
"[John] Kalb said he wanted to wait to see what the state audit said about the project before filing, but Hartman said there is “absolutely no way we’ll have anything done next week.” Kalb said he would have to discuss his options with [Mark] Garvin before making a decision on whether to file."

Mr. Kalb thought that a full audit on this project would be able to be completed in a week's time? LOL!
No, Mr. Kalb talked with the man in charge of the state audit group in Northeast Indiana 5 weeks ago. He informed me that they would be finished "before the end of May". They very well have finished and sent their findings to Indianapolis. We will find out on Wednesday. John B. Kalb
well it is Wednesday, what were the findings on the audit?
we're waiting John...
(chirp chirp)
Just wanted to clarify something John, you said that the findings on the audit would be "by the end of May". But in Lanka's article, he quotes the examiner for the State Board of Accounts as saying that an audit wouldn't be completed until July. So who's doing a bit of fibbing here?
On another side note, it appears the 10 day lawsuit deadline has passed and nothing from John or Mark Garvin. I guess that $2 bond was going to be a little pricey.
