Square Roads Taking Their Vacation

Because of the Harrison Square project, the following streets are permanently closed, effective immediately, the Fort Wayne Traffic Engineering Department has announced:

*Lewis Street from Harrison to Ewing streets.

*Webster Street from Jefferson Boulevard to Douglas Street.

*McClellan Street from Brackenridge to Lewis streets.

*Douglas Street from Webster to McClellan streets.

Concrete barriers are being set around the perimeter during construction. The perimeter of the project includes:

*Jefferson Boulevard from Ewing to Harrison streets.

*Harrison Street from Jefferson Boulevard to Douglas Street.

*Douglas Street from Harrison to Webster streets.

*Webster Street from Douglas to Brackenridge streets.

*Brackenridge Street from Webster to Ewing streets.

*Ewing Street from Brackenridge Street to Jefferson Boulevard.

The streets were voted to be vacated during the September 25th City Council meeting.
