Supporters want facility used for more than baseball

"Hardball Capital, which owns the minor league Fort Wayne Wizards baseball team, wants the facility to be able to accommodate non-baseball events such as concerts, corporate events and even high school football."
"While the city would own the stadium, Hardball would likely operate it year-round and shoulder most of the operating costs. To get the most for their money, they will want to host as many events as possible, Freier said."
