From the article:
"City officials are still negotiating with developers and reported productive talks last week. They hope to introduce legislation on the project’s financing a week from today, with discussion on April 17. That means the council could take a final vote April 24, two weeks before primary election day."

That's the Fort Wayne I know. One Councilman out of nine boldly declares he will wait to look at the proposal before deciding whether he favors it or opposes it. And our newspaper editor asserts thst there have been "promising developments" in the negotiations, but doesn't allow that news to be shared with his readers.
Bud,
Maybe the City should invite you to personally sit in on its negotiations OR, maybe the city could just allow anybody who wants to take part in the negotiations to take part.
