A very nice, thoughtful piece, Scott.

I am trying to figure out how my comments personally insulted those who brought the current memorial stadium to its present location?
In response to those who have said "we already have a baseball stadium", I have frequently said, yes we do have a baseball stadium, but we do not have one of THESE, meaning we do not have a state of the art ball park that is part of an overall develoopment with retail, hotel and condos that will serve as a catalyst for downtown development!
Mr. Graham's letter helps reinforce my decision of why I am not running again. I have some pretty thick skin, but it drains on you after a while to have this sort of nonsence written about you.

Great Job Scott.

Sam-
We disagree on just about everything on Harrison Square, but the editorial about "insulting" those who planned Memorial Stadium is crazy. You haven't insulted anybody. You've talked about ideas, not people. There is no reason for anyone to be insulted, as opposed to being of a different opinion.

Way to go Scott ! Thanks for taking the time to write the letter to the News Sentinel. You are part of the generation our city needs to do its best to retain. You have definitely played a pertinent part in fueling the cause for downtown revitalization in Fort Wayne.
Sam - Don't take Mr. Graham's letter to heart. Believe me, the positive impact you have made on this city far out weighs the few peoples' toes you may have stepped on in the process. You're right - the city does have a current baseball stadium - but it is pathetic, compared to other minor league ball parks. And on a grander scale, Scott’s letter stands as testimony as to why Harrison Square needs to go forward, now more than ever.
Very nice piece, Scott. Well done.
good job Scott, couldn't have said it better myself!
Sam T.:
You and I disagree on just about everything; however, we are both entitled to our opinions and I do not think either one of us takes our differences personally...

Great piece, Scott!
Well done, Scott.
I submit that Don Graham's letter was an insult...to both Sam and himself.
