Commission votes to designate Broadway block historic

"The Fort Wayne Historic Preservation Commission on Monday night voted to designate the 1000 block of Broadway, between West Washington and West Jefferson boulevards, a local historic district. The measure passed 3-2, with commissioners Jill Downs, Angie Quinn and Larry Wardlaw voting in favor. Bernie Gump and Dick Stumpf voted against it."
