"The construction of the Harrison Square project will likely help downtown stormwater problems, but city officials must determine whether it will do enough good on its own."

"Meszaros said if the project is required to spend $500,000 on stormwater issues, that means there is $500,000 less to invest in parts of the project the city wants. The public-private development calls for a new downtown hotel, new condominiums, new retail and a city-owned baseball stadium. He said the ballpark itself, along with an auxiliary park, will create much more green space in the area than exists now."
