"About 20 members of the North River Task Force present unanimously endorsed the plan. Without a dissenter among them, they voted to recommend that Fort Wayne purchase the land for $4.3 million."

“Let’s be clear: This is a complex thing. It’s going to take 12 years to get this done,” [Gianni Longo] said.

"As detailed as the recommendations of the plan are, Longo and the task force leave much to be decided, notably how much public money should be devoted to luring development.

The plan calls for a regional attraction on the north end of the site but doesn’t provide further specifics."
