Gencom and Centennial Wireless were teamed up for both proposals. Case No 2-2008 was deferred until February and Case No 3-2008, dealing with the proposed cell phone tower in the West Central Neighborhood, was withdrawn by the group.

The representative for Gencom/Centennial had stated that concern from local neighborhood members and citizens had prompted their decision to look into relocating and/or redesigning the proposed cell phone tower.

The group will have to file a new and separate petition for any further consideration of a cell phone tower as a result of withdrawing their case.
