With Harrison Square, there is a great opportunity to honor local baseball heroes and Fort Wayne's rich baseball history. Art as part of the new development can take different forms:
Three-dimensional art:
- Edward "Red" Carrington statue
- Dale W. "Mr. Mac" McMillen statue
- Wildcat baseball player statue(s)
- Fort Wayne Daisies statue(s)
- Sponsored teams (ex. GE Voltmen) statue(s)
- Any other notables
Two-dimensional art:
- Large pictures of former teams, players, and ballparks placed around ballpark
- Banners of Fort Wayne baseball placed on streetlamp posts
- Other print ideas

Statues are great and tend to last a long time, but for me, when I travel to other cities what never fails to grab my attention and generate excitement is LARGE murals! Do it, please - baseball, whatever. How about a left to right or circular "coming of age" type mural showing the players in older gear, uniforms and progressing to modern day under lights, etc.?
