A Past Inspired Party

Elves to visit ARCH fundraiser
Link (JG)

"If you’ve been missing the Wolf & Dessauer elves this holiday season, there’s a chance to join them Friday night.

The elves will be working their magic at the Alexander T. Rankin home during the Holidays Jewels Tour and Feast fundraiser for ARCH, Fort Wayne’s non-profit historic preservation group."
[...]
"Cocktails and hors d’oeuvres will be served from 5:30 to 7 p.m. at the Rankin house, 818 Lafayette St.. ARCH is restoring the house – which is on the National Register of Historic Places – to include a geothermal heating and cooling system and other “green” features."
[...]
"A buffet dinner is on the menu for the Masonic Temple’s glitzy neoclassical Knights Templar Room designed by Charles Weatherhogg, one of the leading architects of Fort Wayne in the early 20th century.

Desserts and coffee will be served in the former Goodrich Silvertown service station and tire store at 436 E. Wayne St.

The Art Deco tire store, restored and reopened in the last two years, now houses the offices of Van Gilder & Trzynka law firm."
