"The Bourbon Street Hideaway will host a preview party Tuesday. It will operate in the basement of Columbia Street West. It's part of a handful of businesses to recently open along what's becoming a popular stretch of downtown.
Inside the new restaurant, jazz music reminiscent of New Orleans can be heard. But, there's much more to taste."

"The Bourbon Street Hideaway inside Columbia Street West is just one of about half-a-dozen different businesses that have all set-up shop along the Columbia Street Landing. Exclusively Yours Jewelers is just another one of those types of businesses.
An art gallery and guitar manufacturer are among the others that have opened since last fall. Monday's ribbon cutting marks the 1st new business to open downtown this year.
When asked if downtown Fort Wayne is experiencing a comeback, Fort Wayne Mayor Tom Henry said, "I don't think there's any question about it! I think there's going to be a big movement in Downtown Fort Wayne".
That's something Bourbon Street Hideaway and Columbia Street West owner John Freistroffer agrees with.
"We're looking forward to the next two or three years downtown. Things are really going to be starting to happen," Freistroffer said."

I went to the Bourbon Street Hideaway for dinner the other night and it may have been the best food I've ever been served in Fort Wayne! I definitely recommend it!
